Our old farmhouse cottage, where we resided for 15 years, has had a facelift and is now registered for short stay accommodation. (See photos below - click to enlarge.)

​

We're worth a look in. We are right on the Munda Biddi cycle trail (from Albany to Perth), and we're also on the Warren-Blackwood Stock Route (part of a network of horse riding trails). Our road is also part of a recommended local tourist drive due to the area's natural beauty.

 

Cost :

​

• $110 per person, per night, or 

• $200 per couple. 

• Will sleep a maximum of up to 4 adults/2 kids. (Twin bed room, Queen bed room, sofa bed that folds out into comfortable double bed.) 

• Children under 16 years are free. 16 years and over, adult price. 

• Refundable $70 bond may be requested for all pets and children under 7 yrs. (Unfortunately due to unreported breakages and damage suffered in the past.)

If you are also coming for a workshop here, we have 'workshop weekend' package deals available - just ask for an Information Sheet to be emailed to you.

We are pet friendly - dogs and horses. The cottage has a large, well fenced yard and we have good, well fenced paddocks if you want to BYO horse and go riding locally. (Hard ground, hoof boots recommended!) Sorry no pets for 'workshop weekends'.

The cottage is set on 95 acres of bush and pasture. We have a herd of 10 horses, and 3 dogs ourselves. We also have Guinea Fowl who wander the property as our security and pest control officers. We have a large, clean dam near the cottage that is great for paddling in/swimming if you wish. Lots of great walks and rides on farm and off. Plenty of wild flowers and wildlife - in particular birds - to see. Plus we have several magnificent old growth trees including a King Karri.

We are approx. 12 mins drive from the beautiful town of Nannup. We also have plenty of info on local tourist stops, sights to see, etc. 

 

If you wish to stay....you will need to BYO all food and drink. ALL bedding/pillows and towels, kitchenware etc. are supplied. Tea/coffee etc. also provided for free.

Facilities in the cottage include (and please check out below photos) :

 

• Two bedrooms - one with one single and one double bed, one with one Queen bed (firm mattress), plus a sofa bed (in study area), that folds out into comfortable double bed. 

• Fully equipped kitchen - electric oven/gas cook top stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, all cutlery/crockery, etc.

• Bathroom/laundry facilities. (Great shower, front loading washing machine.)

• Solar hot water.

• Reverse cycle aircon. (No wood fire.)

• Rainwater on tap.

• TV and internet access. 

• Books & games for the family.

• Spare dog bed with bedding, spare dog bowls, etc.

• Covered decking area with fantastic views. BBQ available on decking. 

• Holding paddocks available for horses. Reasonable pasture, good water. Excellent fencing.

We do have two lovely (unpowered) camping spots, however...there are no facilities available for these and if you wish to camp you must be fully self-contained. We are a farm, not a caravan park. No toilet facilities available. You must bring your own portable toilet. Cost : $25 per night pp, or $40 per couple. Towels, chairs and table available on request to make your stay more comfortable. You can swim in our main dam.

 

No actual charge for horses or dogs, but reminder - REFUNDABLE BOND may be charged for all pets - $70 per animal.

Short bush walks with Wadi Farm horses (on foot), available for additional $35 per person. Or $60 pp for a one hour walk. Bookings essential.

​

If you want a little 'down' time and some peace and quiet, come for a farmstay visit. We are a working property. We are happy to take bookings for most of the year although some time is blocked out for family and local events.
